00:21We were called here because on 1st July,

00:25the CM held a meeting at Jalandhar Hotel.

00:31The transport workers were asked to prepare a special policy

00:36for them within a month,

00:40which was approved by the Cabinet.

00:44All the transport workers should get some benefit from it.

00:51The contract workers should be regular,

00:54the outsourced workers should be on the contract,

00:57and the low-wage workers should get their salaries.

01:00But the transport workers,

01:03who have been here for 6 months,

01:06have not been given any notice.

01:09About a month and a half ago,

01:12the government gave a notice to them,

01:15held press conferences and gate rallies,

01:19but the government did not take any action.

01:22On 2nd January, the CM held a meeting in Punjab.

01:29Almost all the transport workers from Punjab Road,

01:32Panabas PRTC, from all over the world,

01:35took part in the meeting.

01:37But no action was taken against us,

01:40because we are the biggest transport company in Punjab.

01:45Almost 7,000-8,000 people participate in the gathering.

01:50But no action was taken against us.

01:54Only one thing was told to us,

01:57that if you want to protest,

01:59you can protest for 10 days,

02:01we don't care.

02:03I would like to ask the CM,

02:06and the Punjab government,

02:09that there will be no difference between you and us.

02:12It is very difficult for the people of Punjab,

02:15who have to afford the government buses,

02:18and the women who have to travel for free.

02:24How many people are suffering because of this?

02:27Do you think private companies will benefit from this?

02:31Of course, the private companies will benefit,

02:34because the government will run the government institutions,

02:38the politics will be implemented for profit,

02:42and they will execute the policies.

02:46all of them want the government to run

02:50the government institutions.

02:53How can that happen?

02:55This is a struggle for 10 days,

02:58the government won't listen to us today.
