00:00The Department of Health has reported more than 770 firework-related injuries this holiday season.

00:06According to the DOH, this is higher than 27% compared to last year.

00:13Among the main causes of the reported injuries are QWITIs, 5-star firecrackers, and BOGA, or improvised cannons,

00:22which resulted in skin burns and other severe cases that resulted in amputation.

00:28Meanwhile, the first case of stray bullet fatality in Dabao del Norte is being investigated.

00:35It is also reported that there were more than 600 road traffic incidents

00:39that resulted in 7 deaths since December 22.
