Crowds have started to gather in front of the Palace of Justice on Monday (Jan 6) ahead of the planned solidarity for former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Some of Najib's supporters were seen wearing red T-shirts.

00:00Crowds have started to gather in front of the Palace of Justice on Monday
00:06ahead of the planned solidarity for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
00:11Some of Najib's supporters were seen wearing red T-shirts.
00:15The police were seen manning roadblocks enroutes entering Putrajaya as early as 6.30am.
00:22There was also a heavy police presence in the vicinity surrounding the Palace of Justice.
00:28Media personnel were also seen in front of the Palace of Justice.
00:33A solidarity gathering had been planned on Monday
00:36to coincide with the Court of Appeals hearing related to an alleged royal addendum order
00:41that will apparently allow Najib to serve the rest of his prison term under house arrest.
00:47Initially, various parties and groups have stated that they will attend the solidarity gathering.
00:52Meanwhile, UMNO Party President Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi
00:56has issued a clear warning to party members regarding a planned rally in support of Najib.
01:02Zahid has advised UMNO members against participating in the demonstration,
01:06stating that those who choose to attend will do so at their own risk.
