00:00Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is the day of celebration of devotees.

00:04To participate in Maha Kumbh Mela,

00:07various saints and saints are gradually gathering in Prayagraja in Uttar Pradesh.

00:13Thousands of devotees have reached Prayagraja among them.

00:17The next preparation will start from January.

00:20It will continue until February 26.

00:23All the foreign devotees who have participated in the Maha Kumbh Mela,

00:29most of them have now given up on Yogasana.

00:33Foreign devotees who have come to Maha Kumbh Mela have taken part in Yogasana class

00:39at Prayagraja's Priya Yoga Ashram and Research Institute of Swami Yogi Satyame.

00:45What does Maha Kumbh mean?

00:52Kumbh Mela is very much related to Kriya Yoga.

00:55If you see the history of Kriya Yoga,

00:56Mahavatar Babaji met Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri

00:59under this banyan tree here at the Kriya Yoga Ashram in 1894 during the Kumbh Mela

01:05and gave the whole prophecy of Kriya Yoga,

01:08how Kriya Yoga would spread all over the world to bring peace on this world through our practice.

01:13What we are learning here, I came in 2007.

01:16It was Ardha Kumbh Mela because somebody told me it would be Maha

01:19and I said I have to go because Maha is only every 12 years.

01:23So I decided to come in 2007.

01:25But I also had just read the autobiography of Yogi and I knew I need Kriya Yoga.

01:30So I came to India with these two thoughts, Kriya Yoga and Kumbh Mela.

01:35When I came here, I met Gurudev's camp at the Kumbh Mela

01:39and I was amazed because I didn't know anything about Guruji.

01:42I was searching for Paramahansa Yogananda.

01:45But as I entered the camp, I started practicing.

01:47I felt so much peace and joy in everything, everything that I was expecting from India.

01:53I have traveled all over the world.

01:55I have practiced many different spiritualities, techniques and different teachers and masters

02:00and I never knew the importance of a true Guru.

02:03And when I met Guruji, when I met Kriya Yoga,

02:06I realized Kriya Yoga is the complete science that joins all different spiritualities,

02:10all different religions.

02:12And most important is the highest technique for us to experience the same inside of us.

02:17What Jesus Christ has taught that I and God are one.

02:20Through Kriya Yoga meditation we can experience what Lord Krishna has said,

02:23I am present in the heart of all, all are present in my heart.

02:27We can experience through the practice of Kriya Yoga

02:30and what we learn in Sanatana Dharma that Vasudeva Kutumbakam.

02:34So this we can experience, really experience, not just talking.

02:39We can experience through the practice.

02:41But I also have learned that the practice can go deep only with the help of the Guru.

02:45So I decided to stay and I kept on staying.

02:48And then I realized Kriya Yoga and Kumbh Mela are one

02:50because every year, not just every 12 years,

02:53every year Guruji organizes program at the Kumbh Mela

02:56and devotees from all over the world, they come every year, not only every 12 years.

03:01And now many, many foreigners are coming more and more.

03:05But now there is some opposition that people are trying to prevent Guruji

03:08to spread the true Sanatana Dharma because Guruji is trying to unite all

03:12and people want the vision.

03:38Since many years, I have been doing this Sadhna in the protection of Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Shri Yogi Satyam.

03:45And I can say with full conviction that all the difficulties of life

03:51that I have experienced in the last few years,

04:00all of them have ended on their own.

04:05And now the aim in life is that the happiness that I am experiencing,

04:13the rest of the world can also experience.

04:15Devotee Meera Mata said that she left her job and came to India for this Yoga.

04:23Mahakumbh is a great occasion and Kumbh, why it was held, we should really understand.

04:27There is a very spiritual significance.

04:30See, when all the saints and sadhus, they were going into deep meditation

04:34and they learned the real art of living, the science like how you should live,

04:38how you should breathe, how you should sit, how you should walk, how you should do your work.

04:42When they went into that depth of learning the science and practicing,

04:46they experienced a lot of changes and they got a lot of knowledge within themselves.

04:51So this is the occasion where they come together and they share that with the ordinary person.

04:56So this Mahakumbh Mela is a very significant moment for that.

05:01And we are very fortunate that Guruji is here to give those teachings.

05:05But unfortunately, as you would have understood from Guruji also,

05:09we are not given the proper platform.

05:11Like Kriya Yoga should be given the highest platform because this is from the beginning of time,

05:17from Mahavatar Babaji.

05:19And this moment was for that, but unfortunately we have not been given the platform.

05:25The administration has lack of spiritual knowledge.

05:28They might be good in the administration, but they have lack of spiritual understanding

05:33what the effectiveness of real spirituality is about.

05:36So they are not able to understand,

05:38they are not able to allocate the right significance or importance to this work.

05:44And it's very shocking to me coming from out of India

05:48to seek spirituality in the spiritual mother India

05:52and seeing persons who are given such high responsibilities

05:55and they are not able to understand the basic thing about,

05:59you know, like giving the right significant space or importance to the sadhus.

06:05It's become like a corporate space, which is very sad to see.
