00:00:51Mia, are you seeing anyone these days?
00:00:54Are you still a virgin at 25?
00:00:57No, no. I have another.
00:00:59You are losing your virginity tonight.
00:01:02You guys are crazy.
00:01:04She's going to be dazed to know if she drinks anymore.
00:01:07How else is she going to be able to get herself to do it?
00:01:09Mia, we got a handsome man for you.
00:01:20We got a handsome man for you tonight.
00:01:32What are you doing here?
00:01:34This is my room.
00:01:36Oh, you must be the guy Fiona was telling me about.
00:01:39Fiona?
00:01:41You drank more than I did.
00:01:51You're a pussy.
00:02:11I'm going to get out of here.
00:02:41Mia, where were you last night?
00:02:55I was in Las Vegas for a bachelorette party.
00:02:59Today's the deadline to pay my college tuition.
00:03:01Did you make all my calls on purpose?
00:03:03I didn't hear my phone ring.
00:03:05Wait, when did you call me?
00:03:08Ten texts and five calls.
00:03:10What's wrong with this person's report?
00:03:14Laura, I think I lost my phone.
00:03:16What?
00:03:18Look, if you're tired of me being a burden and don't want to cough up my tuition anymore, can you just say so?
00:03:22No need to make up excuses.
00:03:23No, that's not it at all.
00:03:25I lost my phone.
00:03:26Laura, we've known each other since childhood.
00:03:29You're my family.
00:03:31I would never lie to you.
00:03:32I promise I'll transfer over the money as soon as I can.
00:03:40Shoot, I'm going to be late for work.
00:03:42Wait, you got a job?
00:03:44Please tell me it's not dressing up like a shark outside the laundromat and handing out flyers.
00:03:47That would be so embarrassing.
00:03:49No, it's not.
00:03:50I got an internship at a big company.
00:04:11Hello?
00:04:12Is this your phone?
00:04:14You found the phone?
00:04:16Bring it to me.
00:04:17What's your name?
00:04:18Laura Jones. I'm at 15 Derrick Street. Hurry!
00:04:25Sir, it seems your grandfather is once again inquiring about the subject of marriage.
00:04:30Moreover, the family has become aware of your evening in Vegas with the young lady.
00:04:36They wish to know her identity and when to expect an engagement announcement.
00:04:41Laura Jones, on Derrick Street. Find her for me.
00:04:45Yes, sir.
00:04:55Please, give me another chance.
00:04:57You are fired. Just go!
00:04:59Please, stop. Please, stop.
00:05:02Please, stop.
00:05:04Please, stop.
00:05:10What's going on here?
00:05:12The new secretary tried to seduce the boss. She was fired.
00:05:16Mr. James hates gold diggers.
00:05:22Avoid those types in the future.
00:05:24Yes, Mr. James. I'll have a charge to find a new secretary right away.
00:05:34He didn't recognize me. He must have been pretty drunk last night.
00:05:39Her scent. That's familiar.
00:05:43Wait.
00:05:50Wait.
00:05:55Who are you?
00:05:57I'm Mia Nolan, sir. Your new intern.
00:06:01Nolan. I'd like you to be my new secretary.
00:06:06But she started a week ago.
00:06:19You go, girl.
00:06:21Why me?
00:06:22Look at you. No way you'd ever seduce the boss for money.
00:06:25I'm nowhere near qualified to be a secretary.
00:06:28Ten grand a month. Are you willing to bust that up?
00:06:31Ten grand?
00:06:48This is Aaron James, heir to the James family name and CEO of the family company.
00:06:59Laura Jones.
00:07:03From Vegas last night at the Lancaster Hotel.
00:07:06Lancaster Hotel.
00:07:09I found your phone in the hotel room. I just came to give it back to you.
00:07:16The James family requires Aaron to be married by the end of the month.
00:07:20You'll receive two million dollars for your discretion.
00:07:23Our relationship would strictly be business.
00:07:26I would not make any advances towards you.
00:07:28You'd be a decoy to help relieve pressure from my men.
00:07:31I expect to hear an answer within three days.
00:07:40Aaron James thought it was me from the photo on Mia's phone.
00:07:45Laura, guess what? I got a promotion and a new phone.
00:07:51Laura, it pays $10,000 a month.
00:07:55$10,000?
00:07:56I'm going to take the offer!
00:07:58What?
00:07:59I'm going to take the offer!
00:08:01Laura, I'm going to take the offer!
00:08:04I'm going to take the offer!
00:08:08Hey, you, you're going to take the offer!
00:08:11Alright, it pays $10,000 a month, so now you can focus on your studies without having to
00:08:16worry anymore.
00:08:17Mia, I'm moving out.
00:08:18What?
00:08:19Why do you suddenly want to move out?
00:08:20Uh...
00:08:21Who's calling?
00:08:22Who's calling?
00:08:23Uh...
00:08:24Probably just a telemarketer.
00:08:25I got accepted for a university scholarship.
00:08:36Oh, I'm so happy for you, Laura.
00:08:45And uh, now I think it's time for me to move out.
00:08:47I mean, I'm 22.
00:08:48I should live on my own.
00:08:49You're right.
00:08:50I support your decision.
00:08:51Thank you, Mia.
00:08:52So, you got a promotion today?
00:08:58You're looking at the new secretary for Aaron James.
00:09:04Aaron James?
00:09:05Like, the CEO of James Group?
00:09:08Yeah.
00:09:09Is that a problem?
00:09:10Not at all.
00:09:11I'm just excited for you.
00:09:12Aaron James is a big deal.
00:09:13But Mia?
00:09:14I mean, he's rich and like, so attractive.
00:09:15How can you resist him?
00:09:16No, I'll be fine.
00:09:17Well, I guess he is a nice figure.
00:09:43Mia, you better be careful.
00:09:45I mean, I heard Aaron James is a real player.
00:09:49His personal life is a mess and he keeps girls on the side.
00:09:52Where did you hear this?
00:09:53I uh, read it online somewhere.
00:09:54The internet is full of stories about him.
00:09:55Well, you don't have to worry.
00:09:56I'm only doing it for the money.
00:09:57Glad to hear it.
00:09:58Hello?
00:10:23Mr. James?
00:10:24It's Laura.
00:10:26I've made up my mind.
00:10:27I've decided to be her fiancé.
00:10:28Oh, Mia.
00:10:29Don't hate me.
00:10:30Who wouldn't want this?
00:10:31Oh Mia, don't hate me.
00:10:49Who wouldn't want this?
00:11:19Miss Jones, you can choose whichever room you like, except the master bedroom.
00:11:37No one goes in there without Mr. James.
00:11:49Good morning, Mr. James.
00:12:06Going up.
00:12:07You know why I chose you to be my secretary?
00:12:34Because I'm playing?
00:12:37You should know that I don't love what women throw themselves at me.
00:12:40Oh, no, I didn't mean like that.
00:12:42I'm just...
00:12:43It's so hot in here.
00:12:44I don't think of you like that.
00:12:48You don't.
00:12:54You don't?
00:12:55No, I...
00:12:56I didn't mean like that.
00:12:57I...
00:12:58Sir, your dinner tonight is all set.
00:13:28Mr. James?
00:13:29I'm not handsome anymore.
00:13:30What are you talking about?
00:13:31You're voted the most handsome airboy in Time magazine.
00:13:35My driver's on other business tonight.
00:13:46I need a ride, pick me up after dinner.
00:13:59Nolan.
00:14:02Drive to the restaurant, pick up Mr. James.
00:14:04I just texted you the address.
00:14:05But I'm off the clock.
00:14:07You are a secretary now.
00:14:08Don't you want to impress your boss?
00:14:10The driver is picking up Mr. James' fiance,
00:14:13so this is a perfect opportunity for you to step up.
00:14:15Mr. James has a fiance?
00:14:21Mr. James has a fiance?
00:14:23Yes, and there could be a wedding on the horizon.
00:14:42Luke, what's up?
00:14:44You're not home.
00:14:45Are you still working?
00:14:47Sorry, I had to drive my ice-cold boss to work this evening.
00:14:51What did you say?
00:14:54Luke, I have to go.
00:14:57I was just telling my friend how you're so wonderful
00:15:00and the best boss ever.
00:15:04Good one.
00:15:07James, is this the secretary?
00:15:10It's not quite, you know, it's the last one.
00:15:15But she's nice.
00:15:19Don't touch her.
00:15:33All this for a secretary?
00:15:35We have a $50 million contract.
00:15:37Not anymore.
00:15:39You lack decency.
00:15:41I'm out.
00:15:46Thank you, sir.
00:15:47You seem like you're ready to leave.
00:15:49Let me drive you home.
00:15:52Did that do it for you?
00:15:55Yes, actually.
00:15:56It was very noble of you.
00:16:00Do you still not think of me that way?
00:16:03No.
00:16:07It was very noble, though.
00:16:10I'm sorry.
00:16:11Come on, there.
00:16:22Aaron will love this tonight.
00:16:27He's going to be so happy.
00:16:30He will.
00:16:31He will.
00:16:32He will.
00:16:33He will.

00:16:53Why is she here?
00:17:06Mr. James,
00:17:07you're quite drunk.
00:17:09You should get some rest.
00:17:10I'm gonna go home now.
00:17:17That's it.
00:17:26Mr. James, what are you doing?
00:17:40Mia Nolan, game on.
00:18:11Emma, bring me some water.
00:18:14Emma, bring me some water.
00:18:38Emma, I'll tend to Mr. James. Please leave us.
00:18:42Yes, madam.
00:18:51Mr. James?
00:19:04What are you doing here?
00:19:09What are you doing here? You can't enter my room.
00:19:11I'm sorry, Mr. James. I just wanted to help you.
00:19:15What do you smell different?
00:19:17It's a new perfume. Do you like it? It's rose.
00:19:20Didn't Emma tell you I can't stand the scent of roses?
00:19:24Get out of here.
00:19:42Honey, which perfume do you usually wear? I'm looking to try something new.
00:19:47He must have been so drunk and thought I was his fiance.
00:19:56Luke gave it to me. It's a citrus scent.
00:20:12The next morning
00:20:25Mr. James, I made breakfast.
00:20:36Mr. James, I made breakfast myself. I hope you enjoy it.
00:20:42It's my birthday today. Will you be home for dinner tonight?
00:20:46No, but I will have something scent.
00:21:03Stupid watch when you're late.
00:21:09The next morning
00:21:19Good morning, Mr. James.
00:21:22Come to my office.
00:21:29What can I do for you, Mr. James?
00:21:40What does he want with me?
00:21:42I hope it's not about last night. He clearly mistook me for someone else.
00:21:46You...
00:21:47I apologize, sir. Please don't be mad.
00:21:49Why would I be mad?
00:21:52I'd like you to come birthday gift shopping with me.
00:21:55For your fiance?
00:21:58You asked too many questions.
00:22:00I'm sorry, sir. It's just today's my best friend's birthday too.
00:22:09The next morning
00:22:17Mr. James
00:22:20Sir Global Limited Edition Bud. Perfect for your girlfriend.
00:22:23Oh, I'm not his girlfriend.
00:22:26I'll take this one.
00:22:27Yes, sir.
00:22:33That's $60,000.
00:22:34You're telling me a watch is $60,000?
00:22:37Yes, sir.
00:22:40I'll take the watch as well.
00:22:41That's $140,000 in all, Mr. James.
00:22:48$147,000?
00:22:50That's enough to cover my salary for a year.
00:23:01Is this for you?
00:23:04Me?
00:23:09This is for you.
00:23:10Me?
00:23:12Mr. James, I can't take that. That's far too much money.
00:23:15I need my secretary to be on time. Besides, this watch is more sturdy and will break like the last one.
00:23:21Do all secretaries get a watch?
00:23:24Instead of asking so many questions, I need you to record a proposal for tomorrow.
00:23:40Can you drop me off at the old John's Family Restaurant?
00:23:43I have a dinner.
00:23:45You need to finish the proposal for tomorrow.
00:23:47I promise I'll finish it by tomorrow.
00:23:50Oh, slow down, slow down. That's it.
00:24:04Luke!
00:24:10These are for Laura.
00:24:13They're gorgeous. She'll love them.
00:24:18She's seeing someone.
00:24:24Ms. Jones, Mr. James values you greatly and he asked me to make sure this gets to you tonight.
00:24:32This bag must have been expensive.
00:24:34Expensive?
00:24:35Global limited edition. Owning it is the same as owning wealth and power.
00:24:41Thanks for coming by just to give this to me.
00:24:43Of course. You're Mr. James' fiancee and this is my duty.
00:24:48I look forward to when you become Mrs. James.
00:24:51Thank you, Scarlett.
00:25:05No answer. She must be running late.
00:25:08Do you think she's still coming?
00:25:11Do you ever feel like Laura's hiding something?
00:25:18She looks like one of those gold digger types your boss hates.
00:25:20Look at that bag. It's the same one Mr. James bought for his fiancee.
00:25:24It's crazy expensive.
00:25:26Uh, sorry. It's reserved.
00:25:30Laura?
00:25:35Laura?
00:25:36Luke! It's been a few days. Did you really not recognize me?
00:25:40You've changed quite a bit.
00:25:42You think so?
00:25:43I think I'm doing all right.
00:25:45Laura, how have you been?
00:25:47I've been great.
00:25:48You?
00:25:49I've been great.
00:25:50You?
00:25:51I've been great.
00:25:52You?
00:25:53I've been great.
00:25:54Laura, how have you been?
00:25:56Couldn't be happier.
00:25:58I have a full scholarship now and it helped pay for a new wardrobe too.
00:26:01Laura, what's really going on?
00:26:03Mia, don't be jealous.
00:26:05No, it's not. I'm not.
00:26:06Laura, how can you say something like that to Mia?
00:26:09Wow. You've always taken Mia's side since we were kids.
00:26:12You know what? You two are a perfect match. You're both miserable boys.
00:26:16That's ridiculous.
00:26:18How can you even afford a limited edition bag on a scholarship?
00:26:22Fine. The truth is, is that it's a gift from my boyfriend.
00:26:26You have a boyfriend?
00:26:27Yes. And I love him and he's crazy about me and we're living together and that's all you need to know.
00:26:32Is he reliable? Are you into him or just his money?
00:26:36You think I'm not good enough for a rich man.
00:26:39And why so many questions, huh? You're just jealous.
00:26:42If you weren't like family to me, I wouldn't even care.
00:26:44What family?
00:26:46Mia, you and I are orphans who were adopted by Luke's parents.
00:26:49We're not related, so stay out of my business.
00:26:52How can you say something like that? You should be ashamed.
00:26:55It's true. We're nothing to each other.
00:27:02We're nothing to each other.
00:27:04And since you don't seem to like my choices, let's not see each other anymore.
00:27:15Where are you going?
00:27:16Laura's naive. Let's see what she's up to.
00:27:20Fuck.
00:27:23To James Manor.
00:27:27Come on, Luke. Let's get her.
00:27:43Hmm.
00:27:45My boss knows you're here.
00:27:50I think it's stalled.
00:28:10Mr. Pennyworth, what sort of flowers do girls usually like?
00:28:16Well...
00:28:18Depends on the kind of girl, sir.
00:28:21Well, she...
00:28:23She's someone like...
00:28:25Like fresh air.
00:28:29Daisies. She'll love them, sir.
00:28:46I'll call a tow truck. We'll find Laura another time.
00:28:51Okay.
00:28:55Miss Nolan, sir. Some form of gentleman.
00:29:06What the hell are they doing here?
00:29:16What the hell are they doing here?
00:29:26Mr. Pennyworth, who's in charge of the opening ceremony?
00:29:28Miss Nolan, sir.
00:29:30Tell her there's an issue with the opening ceremony and have her come to the manor to resolve it immediately.
00:29:35Right away, sir.
00:29:37Miss Nolan.
00:29:39We've had some challenges with the preparations for the art show.
00:29:43And Mr. James requires your assistance this evening.
00:29:47Right now?
00:29:49But my car just broke down.
00:29:51Not to worry.
00:29:53I'll send a car right over.
00:29:55Okay.
00:30:00My boss needs me.
00:30:02He seems pretty needy.
00:30:03At least he pays well.
00:30:14Mr. James.
00:30:18I love the gift you bought for me.
00:30:21And I have a gift for you too.
00:30:25It's in my room.
00:30:26I have a gift for you too.
00:30:28It's in my room.
00:30:33Mr. Pennyworth.
00:30:35Has Mia arrived yet?
00:30:37Yes, sir. I'll bring her here.
00:30:38I'll bring her here.
00:30:54Madam? Are you looking for something?
00:30:59Madam?
00:31:01Are you looking for something?
00:31:04That woman's back.
00:31:06She looks familiar.
00:31:09Madam, are you alright?
00:31:13Have a good night.
00:31:34There's...
00:31:36There's nothing special in here.
00:31:38Do you have anything else?
00:31:40Sorry. I'll redo it.
00:31:46You seem displeased.
00:31:49Is this too much to ask?
00:31:51No, I'm happy to do it.
00:31:57I can hear you, you know.
00:32:09Oh, nice flowers.
00:32:11Are those for your fiancé?
00:32:13Actually, it's...
00:32:14Oh no, I think you chose the wrong color, Mr. James.
00:32:17Your head's a little too much.
00:32:19No, it's fine.
00:32:22Right.
00:32:29So, Miss Nolan prefers boring men.
00:32:34What did you say?
00:32:38Sir, Miss Jones is appealing while you better come and see her.
00:32:44Excuse me.
00:32:53Miss Jones has an allergy.
00:32:56She'll be fine with antibiotics.
00:33:00Miss Jones has an allergy.
00:33:03She'll be fine with antibiotics.
00:33:05Miss Jones has an allergy.
00:33:06She'll be fine with antibiotics.
00:33:10Make sure she avoids citrus.
00:33:13There's no need for a follow-up.
00:33:25Get some rest.
00:33:27Mr. James,
00:33:29I'm an orphan.
00:33:31Nobody ever cared for me when I was sick.
00:33:33I couldn't even afford a hospital.
00:33:34You're the first person to ever care about me.
00:33:36It's nothing.
00:33:38Get well and avoid citrus.
00:33:41Mr. James,
00:33:43will you stay with me tonight?
00:33:50You found me and now I'm your fiancé.
00:33:53Why are you pushing me away?
00:33:55I thought I was clear.
00:33:56This is a business arrangement.
00:33:58If you are unhappy, take the money and leave.
00:34:02Sir, Miss Nolan has left.
00:34:04What?
00:34:09Mia Nolan?
00:34:10I won't let you have him!
00:34:20Mia did an excellent job on the proposal for the art show opening.
00:34:23Fantastic.
00:34:25And tonight is Leo's birthday reception.
00:34:28As you know, his family has been a significant supporter of the business.
00:34:31I'd like you to send a gift on my behalf.
00:34:32It's done already.
00:34:34I'll see you there tonight.
00:34:36I'd like Mia there, actually.
00:34:38She isn't experienced in this type of event.
00:34:41She probably doesn't even own a proper cocktail dress.
00:34:44Who is the boss here?
00:34:46Yes, sir.
00:34:53We'll get her.
00:34:55It's Jones!
00:34:57So you've been Aaron's assistant for 10 years now?
00:35:01And Mia Nolan's been here, what, a few months?
00:35:04She's what he wants.
00:35:06It's not up to me.
00:35:08She manipulates him.
00:35:10She pretends to be all innocent and harmless.
00:35:12But I promise you, she's planning something.
00:35:14I doubt that.
00:35:16She was at the manor the other night, working late.
00:35:19What am I supposed to do about that?
00:35:21What are you saying?
00:35:23I heard her say she plans to replace you.
00:35:24What?
00:35:26She is the enemy.
00:35:28Miss Jones, we will take care of this.
00:35:32Yes, we will.
00:35:44Aaron, you're here!
00:35:47Have a seat.
00:35:49Happy birthday.
00:35:57I hear there's a girl at the manor.
00:35:59So you're finally doing it.
00:36:01Is she...
00:36:08Are you being blackmailed?
00:36:10This is my secretary.
00:36:14Oh!
00:36:17I see.
00:36:19Well, it's my birthday.
00:36:22And the night's not over until we are all drunk.
00:36:25Oh, I don't think I should.
00:36:28Bad things happen when I drink too much.
00:36:30Let's see it.
00:36:32If you can get me drunk,
00:36:34your company can have the next
00:36:36fifty million dollars in projects.
00:36:38Fifty million dollars?
00:36:43Fifty million dollars?
00:36:45Don't believe a word that he says.
00:36:46Mr. James,
00:36:48if we land this, it'll make up
00:36:50for the fifty million lost, my honor.
00:36:52I have to try.
00:37:02Cheers.
00:37:13Snake eyes!
00:37:14Snake eyes!
00:37:16You lose!
00:37:21Oh, I lose.
00:37:23Bottom's up.
00:37:31Okay, okay, you know what?
00:37:33What's the meaning?
00:37:35No, we gotta go.
00:37:37Let's go.
00:37:39Come on.
00:37:44Let's go.
00:38:01Oh, you're so handsome.
00:38:03I need it again.
00:38:14Oh.
00:38:44Mr. James, I had a little too much to drink tonight.
00:38:49If I did anything to offend you, I'm truly sorry.
00:38:52Do you remember anything?
00:38:54What happened?
00:39:01Oh God.
00:39:14I'm so sorry about your suit. I'll pay for another one.
00:39:24Not a chance.
00:39:26At least let me get it to the cleaners.
00:39:28That won't be necessary.
00:39:31You've already closed a five million dollar contract for me.
00:39:34I did?
00:39:36Get yourself cleaned up for me.
00:39:44Mia got out of Mr. James' car this morning.
00:39:52Really?
00:39:54He takes her to all sorts of events. He must really like her.
00:39:58That's too bad for Scarlett.
00:40:01What are you talking about?
00:40:03Hi Scarlett.
00:40:05It's nothing. You're the most trusted person around here.
00:40:09Mia's nothing.
00:40:11And you're the host for the opening ceremony of the charity art exhibition.
00:40:14That's all that matters.
00:40:17How is the preparation going?
00:40:19We're on it.
00:40:33Miss Jones, I know how to handle Mia.
00:40:42Scarlett, here's the oat milk latte you asked for.
00:40:52Mr. James, everything has been arranged.
00:40:54We're just waiting for Scarlett to give the opening speech.
00:40:57There's important business partners and heavyweight media players.
00:40:59We cannot afford to make any mistakes.
00:41:01Oh, please don't worry.
00:41:03I reviewed over everything. There shouldn't be any problems.
00:41:06Mr. James!
00:41:08Scarlett had an allergic reaction to something.
00:41:11Hurry, we have to help her.
00:41:20Looks like the show's about to begin.
00:41:26Mia, I told you I have a gluten allergy.
00:41:29You put oat milk in her coffee?
00:41:32It was a mistake. Scarlett wanted oat milk in her coffee.
00:41:35Doesn't matter now. Scarlett can't host the event.
00:41:38All this hard work was for nothing.
00:41:40Come on, Mia. You're in trouble now.
00:41:42I'm so sorry. It's all my fault.
00:41:44Get Scarlett to the hospital and find someone else to host the show.
00:41:47Mr. James, Mia can host the show.
00:41:50I...
00:41:52There's no way. She's only been with the company for a few months.
00:41:55I'm... She made the proposal.
00:41:58I'm... She made the proposal.
00:42:01I'm sure she can do it.
00:42:04Wait.
00:42:12Wait.
00:42:17I believe in you.
00:42:19Then I'll try.
00:42:22But, sir, you don't have a dressing room.
00:42:25I'll take care of it.
00:42:28Mia, here are the notes for the second.
00:42:31Hey, Aaron. Why isn't the event starting yet?
00:42:59Mia's already here.
00:43:03Sir, it's past the start time and Miss Nolan's not here.
00:43:07Is it possible she's not coming?
00:43:09Sorry I'm late.
00:43:18Sorry I'm late.
00:43:21Whoa.
00:43:25Is that dress from the James family collection?
00:43:32You'll wear this dress later.
00:43:34It's from your family's collection. I think it's too much for me.
00:43:37This is my lawyer.
00:43:41She's beautiful and familiar.
00:43:45I feel the same way.
00:43:48Distinguished guests, we'd like to extend our warmest welcome to all of you
00:43:52and begin the commencement of this charitable art exhibition.
00:43:56Is this the big show you were talking about?
00:43:59The real fun is about to begin.
00:44:01It is my distinguished honor to guide you through these showcased masterpieces.
00:44:10Where did the notes go?
00:44:17Where did the notes go?
00:44:20Modern art, with its unique perspective, profound connotation
00:44:49and endless creativity.
00:44:52It challenges the perspective and definition of beauty.
00:44:56She's your secretary, Mia Nolan.
00:44:58Yes, she is.
00:45:00That was the introduction for today's showcase.
00:45:03And the James family is devoted to helping avant-garde artists
00:45:06find their artistic perspective
00:45:08while also continuing to further global causes.
00:45:11Thank you all for coming.
00:45:20May I take a photo for you?
00:45:24Everyone, please follow me to enjoy the exhibit.
00:45:33You look beautiful.
00:45:35Mia.
00:45:37Mr. Clark.
00:45:39Let's hold a drink later, eh?

00:45:43Let's go.
00:45:45Mr. Clark.
00:45:47Let's hold a drink later, and maybe I can have your number?
00:45:51Leo, what are you doing?
00:45:56Leo, what are you doing?
00:45:58I'm trying to steal your secretary of it.
00:46:01Looking for a good one.
00:46:02Mia, I'll double your salary.
00:46:04I...
00:46:09She makes how much?
00:46:11Still want her?
00:46:16I'm tripling your salary.
00:46:18One more year and I can buy a house
00:46:20and finally live the life that I want.
00:46:27What was that?
00:46:28I told you to ditch her and not put on a damn show.
00:46:30She was lucky this time. Next time she won't be.
00:46:33You can kiss your job goodbye if you screw up like this again.
00:46:36I know.
00:46:39Mr. James, is everything okay?
00:46:46Have you been to Lancaster Hotel in Las Vegas?
00:47:08Have you been to Lancaster Hotel in Las Vegas?
00:47:21Is everything okay?
00:47:25Mia, are you feeling sick?
00:47:27I don't know. Recently I've been feeling nauseous.
00:47:30Are you pregnant?
00:47:33Can't be.
00:47:35I'm just feeling sick. It'll go away.
00:47:38Give me your wallet.
00:47:44I was late this month.
00:47:46Am I pregnant?
00:47:55Mia Nolan, your results are in.
00:48:02Congratulations. You're 42 days pregnant.

00:48:39Where's Mia?
00:48:41She went to the hospital.
00:48:44Which one?
00:48:54Mr. James, what are you doing here?
00:48:57Oh, I just happened to be passing by.
00:49:01Come on. I'll take you home.
00:49:08I'm not feeling well.
00:49:10My stomach.
00:49:12You should take a couple days to rest.

00:49:21We had a one-night stand.

00:50:38Thank you. You're too kind.
00:50:41Well, dig in. I made your favorite.
00:50:57You all right?
00:50:59I'm fine.
00:51:01I'm just going to get something to drink.
00:51:03I'll go.
00:51:30May I want to talk to you?
00:51:32Me too.
00:51:34You first.
00:51:36I've loved you for a really long time.
00:51:40I know this may be a surprise.
00:51:42We grew up in the same house. You might see me as a brother, but...
00:51:45I really, truly love you.
00:51:47Luke, I'm pregnant.
00:51:52I really, truly love you.
00:51:54Luke, I'm pregnant.
00:51:58Who's the father?
00:52:00That doesn't matter.
00:52:02What matters is I'm keeping the baby.
00:52:05You're going to be a single mom?
00:52:08Does the father know?
00:52:10It was a one-night stand.
00:52:12You know I lose control when I'm drunk.
00:52:15It was a mistake, but I'm going to move forward.
00:52:19I want this child.
00:52:21Are you sure?
00:52:23You know I love kids.
00:52:25And now that I have this chance, I want to give it a good home.
00:52:31Doesn't that sound nice?
00:52:35Okay.
00:52:37Well, you know I got your back no matter what.
00:52:40And just so you know, I'm also totally cool raising this baby with you.
00:52:52I'm sorry, Luke.
00:52:55I just don't think of you like that.
00:52:58You'll always be my family.
00:53:03You gonna tell Laura?
00:53:05I will.
00:53:07The time's right.
00:53:09I'm not mad anymore.
00:53:11I'll always remember that time she saved my life.
00:53:17Ah!
00:53:23What's going on?
00:53:28We need to go to the hospital.
00:53:34No bus.
00:53:42Mia, you're awake.
00:53:44I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have.
00:53:46Laura, what happened?
00:53:48Ow.
00:53:49Wait, you don't remember?
00:53:51No.
00:53:53What happened?
00:53:54Ow.
00:53:55Wait, you don't remember?
00:53:57All I remember is falling down the stairs and then you saved me.
00:54:00Thank you, Laura.
00:54:02Of course. We're family.
00:54:15Mia's awake.
00:54:17Thank God Mia doesn't remember what happened.
00:54:19She thinks I'm the one who saved her.
00:54:21Luke, please don't tell her what I did.
00:54:23She won't understand.
00:54:25I promise I won't do it again.
00:54:33Luke, are you alright?
00:54:35Nothing.
00:54:37I'm sure you and Laura will figure it out.
00:54:40I hope so.
00:54:44Thanks, Luke.
00:54:52What?
00:54:54Mia's pregnant.
00:54:56From a one-night stand.
00:54:58Why are you so surprised?
00:55:00I'm just excited for her.
00:55:03She wants to be a single mom.
00:55:05You know Mia.
00:55:06When she makes up her mind, there's no changing it.
00:55:08Be happy for her and go see her sometime.
00:55:11Yeah.
00:55:13I'm so excited.
00:55:15I'm so excited.
00:55:17I'm so excited.
00:55:20Yeah.
00:55:22I guess I will.
00:55:29What one-night stand?
00:55:32Was it Aaron's?
00:55:34Would you tell him?
00:55:41Scarlett!
00:55:43I need you to plan a little business trip for Miss Nolan.
00:55:46Right away.
00:55:47I'll send her to San Francisco with an awful car and terrible lodging.
00:55:51Excellent.
00:56:17Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
00:56:23Mia, it's ten o'clock. Why aren't you here yet?
00:56:26Mr. James, I'm at Scarlett's picking up a car for the meeting in San Francisco.
00:56:31You're driving yourself to San Francisco?
00:56:33Uh, yes. Unless you need...
00:56:36Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
00:56:44Hello?
00:56:46Mia, hello?
00:56:56What's that smell?
00:56:58Are you sure this car can make it to San Francisco?
00:57:00Scarlett seemed to think so.
00:57:08You know what? Forget about this car.
00:57:10You ride with me.
00:57:12You're going to San Francisco too?
00:57:14Turns out I have some business to attend to.
00:57:45This is the room that Scarlett put you in.
00:57:47I think it's great.
00:57:50I feel right at home.
00:57:53And thanks for the ride.
00:57:55Now let me get you a burger.
00:57:57Come on.
00:58:14Mr. James?
00:58:37Mr. James?
00:58:39Do you like kids?
00:58:44Children are the lowest return investment in the world.
00:58:49You work hard for decades, but nothing will return.
00:58:52A parent shouldn't treat their child like an investment.
00:58:55I mean, how can you invest and expect nothing in return?
00:58:58I mean, what if your child becomes a criminal or a degenerate?
00:59:04You don't want children?
00:59:06No.
00:59:08I don't.
00:59:11You don't want children?
00:59:13No.
00:59:15What if someone shows up at your door one day with a child and falls...
00:59:19I'm getting married and it's in the interest of my family.
00:59:22As far as it goes.
00:59:24No child for me.
00:59:41Mr. James?
00:59:43Don't you want to stay in your fancy hotel room tonight?
00:59:47The security here is basically non-existent,
00:59:50so as your boss, it's my duty to secure safety as one of our employees.
01:00:10No!
01:00:28Get out!
01:00:32No!
01:00:35Aaron!
01:00:37Aaron!
01:00:39Aaron!
01:00:41Please, Aaron!
01:00:43Aaron!
01:00:45Aaron, the baby is yours!
01:00:47You're the father, please don't leave us!
01:00:51Aaron, please!
01:00:56Aaron!
01:01:05I am, how is he doing?
01:01:07I'm so very sorry for your loss.
01:01:15I'm so very sorry for your loss.
01:01:26Mia.
01:01:28Mr. James?
01:01:30I'm fine.
01:01:32Are you okay? Let me see.
01:01:34I'm fine, it's nothing.
01:01:37Why did the doctor say that...
01:01:40How are you related to Mr. Robbins?
01:01:43Mr. Robbins?
01:01:45I don't know who that is.
01:01:48Oh.
01:02:00The doctor said that you should rest for a few days.
01:02:03I'll take care of everything at work.
01:02:05You don't have to worry about anything.
01:02:09Mia.
01:02:11Why were you crying?
01:02:17Mr. James.
01:02:20You are...
01:02:22very important to me.
01:02:24If anything were to happen to you,
01:02:26your family would come for me and I'd lose my job.
01:02:30You're worried about your job?
01:02:32Get some rest.
01:02:34I'll get you some lunch.
01:02:36Okay.
01:02:45Sir, we have an update with the hotel in Las Vegas.
01:02:55Unfortunately, we could not locate the footage from that night.
01:03:07What?
01:03:09Oh, she lucked out with that baby.

01:14:26wrapped around your finger.
01:14:28Mia, Mia, Mia, always in the spotlight.
01:14:30And you know, really, I can accept that.
01:14:32But with Aaron? I'm crazy about him.

01:17:48That may not be the only thing she's done.
01:17:50Remember San Francisco?
01:17:52Do you think she had something to do
01:17:54with the man who stabbed you?
01:17:58How would she even know I was there?

Same storyline, same actor, different actresses. He's done this same storyline before. He's a good actor, needs a better storyline and script.
  • MovieLover4 days ago
Ok, from the beginning it doesn't make sense ... he calls an incoming number on the phone and says is this your phone. Makes no sense, unless the assumption is she has 2 phones.
