00:00PAS did not hesitate to call on its members to gather solidarity for Najib Razak in Putrajaya this week
00:10regarding an addendum on behalf of the police department to respect the prerogative power of President Agung.
00:17Setiausaha Agung Takiyuddin Hassan said,
00:20the party took note of the statement of the state parliament yesterday
00:23in connection with the power of President Agung based on article 4201 and article 402 of the Constitutional Code
00:30to forgive, punish, and release punishment for crimes in the areas of Kuala Lumpur, Lapuan, and Putrajaya.
00:39In his opinion, the party also agreed and supported all processes and procedures
00:44set out under the law in connection with the matter
00:47through the village council led by President Agung.
00:51However, it is clear that the presence of PAS to gather solidarity for Najib in the Putrajaya court
00:58does not negate or reduce the meaning and purpose of the statement
01:02nor does it interfere with the process and the journey of the village council.
01:08The head of UMNO, Dr. Akmal Saleh, on the other hand,
01:12insisted that he would still be present at the meeting based on personal capacity
01:16even though his party made a U-turn and decided not to continue it.
01:22Earlier today, the head of the state police, Razaruddin Husim, said,
01:26the state parliament clearly directed all officials who wanted to obtain permission
01:31to appeal to the empowerment agencies,
01:34not through a collusion or a network that does not comply with the law.
