2.5m endangered shark spotted on British beach

A two-and-a-half metre endangered thresher shark was found washed up on Par Beach, Cornwall, on New Year’s Day.

Cornwall Wildlife Trust suspects trauma from sport fishing and is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
