assistant professors of the biochemical engineering department of IIT-BHU.

Javik ethanol is a biofuel, which acts as an alternative to clean and durable energy

to reduce the dependence on raw oil in the country.

Dr. Abhishek told us that we have done research on how to make Jeevasma

with the help of potato peels, and our students have also received awards for this research.

The research started by collecting the potato peel waste from the hostel mess.

Because I saw that potato peel waste was generated in a very large amount.

So for that, we collected the potato peel waste from there.

After drying it in the oven, we grinded it and converted it into powder form,

which we used in the further process, which is our fermentation process.

In this, we took the substrate potato peel waste and with the help of some microbes,

we converted it, which produced bioethanol.

For this, we have used nanodrops for analysis and performed biochemical assays.

We also did enzymatic analysis.

But the basic step in this is the fermentation process, which is its main step,

which we have done on a lab scale in serum bottles for now.

The benefit of this bioethanol is that we can use it for our next generation fumes
