Kayla noticed her son wandering in his room, and a mischievous plan quickly formed in her mind.  Quietly, she positioned herself just outside the room, waiting patiently for the perfect moment to give him a scare.  With every soft footstep, she felt her excitement grow, imagining the startled expression on his face.  As her son, lost in his own thoughts, slowly made his way out, Kayla seized the moment.  She let out a sudden, loud scream that sent him jumping in fright.
