00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines, or AFP, confirmed the Philippine Navy has taken control

00:05of a submersible drone found by local fisherfolk in Masbate.

00:10According to a report gathered by the Philippine News Agency, Rodney Valenzuela and his group

00:14discovered the drone while fishing in San Pascual and handed it over to the police.

00:19AFP spokesperson Colonel Ceres Estreidad said the Navy is investigating the drone's origin

00:24and purpose.

00:26He praised the fishermen for their vigilance and emphasized the importance of cooperation

00:30to protect the country's maritime territory.

00:33The AFP remains committed to ensuring the safety of Philippine waters.
