Real estate website Zillow released a list of the year’s most popular housing markets, which includes a disproportionate number of cities in the northeast. Veuer’s Matt Hoffman reports.

00:08most popular housing markets. Zillow created the list by analyzing consumer demand housing

00:13metrics including page view traffic, home value growth, and how quickly homes sell.

00:18Their most popular market was Manchester, New Hampshire. Another New England state,

00:23Connecticut, had four cities crack the top 10 — Stamford, Bridgeport, New Haven, and Waterbury.

00:29Other popular markets included Rockford, Illinois, Columbia, Maryland, and Allentown,

00:34Pennsylvania. Zillow chief economist Skylar Olson said in a statement,

00:38With the rise of hybrid work models, more people are discovering hidden gem cities

00:42they might have previously overlooked when daily commutes were the norm.
