00:45How were they?

00:47It was difficult. It was quite a dragging injury.

00:52It was a difficult injury with that ankle.

00:56I missed a lot of games and the European Championship.

00:59It was really difficult, but it's getting better now.

01:03I'm playing again and I'm growing back to 100%,

01:09where I need to be in terms of shape and fitness and everything.

01:12So, it's good for now.

01:15The European Championship was the biggest bump,

01:18so it took a while.

01:21Of course, you keep following them. You talk to some guys.

01:24You watch every game, so it comes back every time.

01:28But I'm happy to be back now.

01:30How do you feel watching the guys who are playing at home?

01:34It's very double.

01:36You have something like, I should have been there too.

01:39I wanted to be there too.

01:41But you're also happy for the guys when things go well.

01:43You support them, so it's very double.

01:46Nations League, World Cup 2026 is coming up.

01:49What are your thoughts on that, when you look at the team?

01:52The Nations League is a great challenge.

01:55They are at the forefront of the Open Scheme.

01:58That's what this World Cup is all about.

02:00In the end, the World Cup is a great poster for the longer term.

02:04That's what you want to be a part of as a team, as a Dutch team,

02:07but also as an individual.

02:09Those are the great final tournaments you want to be in.

02:15I think we have a good team, a good selection.

02:18We can do some great things, but we have to show this first.

02:21Then we'll see in the end.

02:23Personal goals? Staying fit, I guess.

02:27And besides that, you also want to be of value to the team.
