00:00How was that for your first experience out there?

00:02Yeah it was good mate, it was a good first hit out and it was just good to get out there

00:06in front of the crowd and with a jersey on and get it over and done with.

00:09What did you make of the experience, the atmosphere in the crowd?

00:12Yeah it was a great atmosphere, it was definitely one of the bigger crowds and most local crowds

00:15I've played in front of, so it was good yeah.

00:17You can imagine what it's going to be like on a Friday or Saturday with a league game

00:21coming in with 5,000 people.

00:23No it would be crazy, it would be crazy.

00:25Just have a little break now, can't wait to get in next year and work hard and have our

00:27first home game next year against the same team.

00:29How are you settling in, are you enjoying yourself?

00:31Yeah I'm enjoying it mate, it took a bit to settle in but I found my feet now and I'm

00:35pretty much settled so I've really been enjoying it.

00:37Does it feel good to have that first game out of the way?

00:40Yeah, yeah it's been good, definitely just a bit of the nerves and I was kind of just

00:44a little corking so I didn't get as many minutes as I thought I'd get, just struggling a bit

00:48with it at training but it was good to get a hit out and yeah I thought I went alright

00:51and the boys definitely in the first half were strong and we'll have a good team coming

00:55in next year.

00:56Yeah there were some positive signs, particularly when you had the strongest team out before.

00:59Yeah definitely, we had a lot of the young boys in the second half but I thought we'd

01:03focus on what we needed to and yeah it was good.

01:05And the young boys you mentioned, what do you think of the young kids?

01:09Nah they're good mate, they've kind of been weaning in out of training with us but they're

01:13good fellas and yeah it was a good experience for them getting out there today.

01:16How was your first Christmas in all of May?

01:19Yeah it was different mate, being away from the family but it was good.

01:23It was good getting all the Aussies, we come here and had lunch yesterday together and

01:26definitely different but yeah it was good getting us all together and having a good day.

01:30And it's I think about seven weeks now to the first game, still a bit of work to do.

01:37Do you think the positive signs?

01:38Definitely mate, definitely and I was just saying before we have a lot of competition

01:41and spots this year and just bring the stand up at training and definitely leading into

01:45round one we'll have a really strong team.
