Synopsis : Joy est une avocate submergée par les soins et l'attention qu'elle doit dispenser à son nouveau-né, et qui pense ne pas pouvoir s'en occuper. Mully, quant à lui, est un garçon de 12 ans qui vient de perdre sa mère d'un cancer, et doit faire face à un père voleur. Lorsque l'adolescent dérobe un taxi avec l'intention d'aller rendre l'argent que son père a volé, il découvre sur la banquette arrière Joy évanouie serrant son bébé dans ses bras. Celle-ci a l'intention de confier son enfant à sa soeur et de quitter le pays. Le duo, en fuite, va vivre une aventure qui va créer un lien exceptionnel entre ces deux êtres blessés par la vie....
