In spite of great actors and a good story, this was messed up for me because no clinical trials would work like this. There would never be just one subject. They. Would not put experimental drugs in a patient with cancer or a pregnant patient. Ever! And it would not matter if she said, βIβm OK with it.β Clinical trials donβt give experimental drugs not about pregnancy to pregnant mothers.however, the writers wanted the clinical trial to drive the plot so we willfully suspend disbelief and enjoy!
