Syria’s new leader al-Sharaa is saying correct as it would be wrong to rush to elections without the right preparations like a constitution or the return of the Syrian diaspora, former UK envoy to Iraq Sir William Patey says.  #Syria

00:39decent constitution and preparation for elections, allowing the Syrian diaspora to return and

00:45take part in these elections. So the important thing is to maintain a decent government and

00:50build the institutions.
