00:08first few weeks, months in the role? Can they live up to expectations?

00:16Thanks for having me. Yeah, I mean, the government has been in power now for the last

00:24three months here in Syria, having inherited a large pile of problems and unresolved

00:32issues in Syria. Starting with the international relations, they did pretty well in engaging with

00:42foreign countries. And so far, the communications with Europe and particularly United Kingdom and

00:52certain other important countries have been quite good and promising. We've had a lot of

01:01bilateral meetings and communications. Some sanctions have been relieved, but the main

01:08engagement with the U.S. is still pending to be more advanced and to produce more

01:16concrete actions on the ground.
