Decomposed body found in Banting, missing teen's boyfriend arrested

A decomposed body discovered in Banting, Selangor, is believed to be connected to the disappearance of 15-year-old Yap Xin Yuan earlier this month.  Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed on Sunday (Dec 28) that the body was found and that three suspects, including Yap’s 16-year-old boyfriend, as well as two others aged 20 and 51, have been arrested and remanded until Sunday. 00:31A post-mortem has been conducted at Hospital Banting and the case has been classified

00:38Three suspects, including the victim's boyfriend aged 16, 20 and 51, have been arrested and

00:48Yap Shin Yuan was last seen on December 19 after attending a lion dance practice at a

00:53basketball court in Batu 11 Cheras.

00:56According to Hsinchu Daily, Yap's family has provided DNA samples to assist the investigation.
