00:39Some of the best-selling fireworks are the Sawa, Kuitis, and Lusis.

00:43One round of Sawa is worth Php 1,000 while 10,000 rounds of Kuitis are worth Php 10,000.

00:51Kuitis are worth Php 1,000 and Lusis are worth Php 100.

00:57The store is open here in Bukawe until 8 p.m.

01:01The Bureau of Fire Protection is advising the public to use an alternative way of lighting fireworks

01:07such as torotot, or lighting a bonfire to welcome the new year.

01:14The BFP is in Code Red and the full alert status is 37,946 until January 2, 2025.

01:24This is part of the Offline Reminder to Avoid Fireworks to Avoid the Incident of Fireworks.

01:30Some types of fireworks are prohibited such as Piccolo, Super Lolo, and Goodbye Philippines.

01:37The BFP has given penalties under RA-7183 for those who violate the law.

01:43Those who sell or buy illegal fireworks may be jailed for 6 months to 1 year and fined Php 20,000 to Php 30,000.

01:55Meanwhile, local government units designated community firework display areas may be considered.

02:03Now, security is tight here in Bukawe, Bulacan.

02:07Fireworks are not allowed to be tested to avoid accidents.

02:12Illegal fireworks are being monitored online.
