Who are the true Super Bowl Contenders?

The guys go over Super Bowl contenders. The AFC road to the Super Bowl goes through Kansas City as the Chiefs pushed their record to 15-1 with a win over the Steelers.

00:04It's supposed to be when I say nasty weather, rainy and somewhat chilly cold

00:17We're hoping the Dolphins can just make the playoffs.

00:19But right now I wanna go through, we saw some playoff, not only contenders, but

00:22Super Bowl contenders yesterday.

00:24And I wanna kind of go through it with Leroy and Vlad right now.

00:27Who's a real contender for the Super Bowl and who's just a pretender?

00:30I'm not even gonna ask because we already know Kansas City is a true contender.

00:34Yeah, is there anyone that's gonna doubt that?

00:37No, no, no, no, no, no, they're a true contender.

00:40You gotta figure- They are, well, let's put it this way.

00:44They are the contender until somebody moves them, then they're on top.

00:51Are the Bills true contenders for the Super Bowl, to win the Super Bowl?

00:57You think they can clip the Chiefs at some point, maybe with, well,

00:59they're not gonna get home field advantage because Kansas City

01:02clinched home field yesterday.

01:03I just think that they play in the same circumstances,

01:08they play in the same situation.

01:09But I'm never gonna, as of right now, you cannot bet against Patrick Mahomes.

01:15Okay, but you still think they're contenders, more possibly?

01:18Yeah, I think they're contenders.

01:19They get, well, it's- Isn't it, okay.

01:23Isn't it, aren't you looking at it this way, the team in the AFC,

01:30if they do beat the Chiefs, they knocked off the monster,

01:35you knocked off the King, so therefore, you will become the favorite

01:38because you're the team that took out the King.

01:40But the great thing about, well, yeah, Buffalo beat them.

01:44No, but what I'm saying is, if you're able to beat them in the postseason,

01:47that's why you can always- Right.

01:49When we talk about quarterbacks, and the reason why this guy

01:52always gets his name mentioned is because he went up there,

01:56he went into the Patrick Mahomes Invitational,

02:00and he beat Patrick Mahomes, and that's Joe Burrow.

02:03That's why his name was always gonna be up there, until somebody beats them.

02:08Well, no, we, like, yeah, look, we putting Kansas City up there.

02:18But are there teams that, as currently constructed,

02:24have a chance to go into Kansas City and beat them?

02:36because of the running game and the electricity of Lamar Jackson?

02:38I just think, here, here's what I think about the Ravens,

02:42and here's what I think about Buffalo.

02:44Still that guy wearing 50.

02:46No, I know, but we're talking, we're just talking about teams

02:49who have a, can compete with them.

02:53No, I'm not saying you're gonna compete with them, right?

02:57We ain't saying teams that's gonna go in there and beat them.

03:00Yeah, the two teams, because when you got two MVP-type players,

03:04like Josh, Buffalo has with Josh, and Baltimore has with Lamar,

03:09you always feel like you- Here's what I would say.

03:12A team that can win.

03:13Every time Buffalo has played Kansas City,

03:15the game has been close.

03:17Most of the games are always close

03:19when you play Kansas City.

03:20But I would say, but I would say this,

03:25and this is gonna sound crazy,

03:29but because of the run game

03:32and the ability to kind of suck the air out of the football,

03:39I'm more inclined to say Baltimore is more of a threat

03:45than Buffalo.

03:48I mean, I just think that when you can turn it,

03:53when it's 15 degrees,

03:56and you can turn around and hand it to that dude,

03:59or your guy can take off and run.

04:01Now, I'm only saying this because I think

04:04Baltimore's run game is better than Buffalo's.

04:06Buffalo does run the ball well.

04:08Ooh, yeah.

04:09So there are, they do have two schemes

04:13that could go in there and keep the game close

04:17and have a chance to win.

04:19That being said, 15 on the other side.

04:23And as Vlad said, you know,

04:24we talking about can't compete with them.

04:27If they played in a game,

04:30I don't care what the point spread is.

04:34You have to take Patrick Mahomes.

04:37We've seen it.

04:57We don't have to be prison on the moment.

05:14Once he threw that touchdown,

05:15was it to Gabe Davis?

05:17All right.

05:18Buffalo's got it.

05:18Kansas City's out.

05:20That is it.

05:21And then we saw the man in 13 seconds,

05:24throw two passes to Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelsey.

05:27And they hit a game winning,

05:28the game tying field goal.

05:30And then he throws the touchdown to win in overtime.

05:32And then now it's like,

05:34where is there anything this man can't do

05:37with time left on the, with time left?

05:40Again, I'm not saying that if either of these two teams

05:44play Kansas City, I'm taking them.

05:47But they got a shot.

05:49But I'm saying that as far as the AFC

05:52is currently constructed,

05:54the only two teams I give a puncher's chance

06:00with the style of football they play

06:01and being able to play in that weather

06:04is Buffalo and Baltimore.

06:08Now I'll say this.

06:11The thing that worries me about Baltimore

06:15is that they've never had that game

06:19that Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills

06:21have had with Kansas City.

06:23So when they go to Kansas City,

06:26they going to be in familiar,

06:28on familiar turf where they say,

06:30we know how to compete with this team.

06:33Let's go get it done, right?

06:36Baltimore hasn't quite gotten over that hump yet

06:44as far as knowing or seeing themselves

06:47go out against a team like that

06:49and perform under those circumstances.

06:56We are going to be very excited

06:57to see how these playoffs play out.

06:59Might get surprised, maybe might not be so surprised.
