00:00The Bureau of Fire Protection or BFP reported the fire incidents related to

00:04fireworks have dropped as the year draws to a close, which is significantly lower

00:09compared to last year. BFP spokesperson, Fire Senior Superintendent Anthony Atienza

00:14says they remain on red alert status to prevent further firecracker related

00:18incidents. Atienza urged the public to avoid setting off firecrackers and

00:23instead watch fireworks displays at designated community areas to ensure

00:27safety. Meanwhile, electrical ignition or fires caused by faulty electrical

00:32wiring remain the leading cause of fire incidents.
