00:1227.9 of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway were completed on Thursday night.

00:18In a statement posted on Facebook, Lembaga Urus Ayaselangor, Luas, announced that the

00:24remaining tasks on Friday would focus on clearing oil packaging waste, which had already been

00:29collected by the vehicle owner.

00:32Luas confirmed that Songgai Gombak remained unaffected throughout the clean-up, thanks

00:36to close monitoring by Luas and Pengurusan Ayaselangor Sendirian Berhad.

00:41Inspections also verified that the spill site is now fully under control.

00:47The accident, which occurred around 12.30am on Wednesday, resulted in 20 tonnes of palm

00:53oil spilling onto the road and into a nearby drain.

00:57The spill accumulated in a highway sump before flowing into a tributary of Songgai Gombak,

01:03disrupting the raw water supply to the Songgai Gombak Water Treatment Plant from 2am to 6pm.
