Motor tanker carrying 800K liters of oil sinks off Mindoro

The Philippine Coast Guard confirms an oil spill incident after the motor tanker Princess Empress carrying 800K liters of industrial oil sank off Naujan, Oriental Mindoro today, Feb. 28, 2023.

But PCG says the oil spill involved diesel fuel from the vessel, not the industrial oil it carried.
