00:00Let's first go to the busy inspection of those who will apply for a permit before selling fireworks in Tuguegarao City.

00:06The aim is to ensure the safety of the voters as the new year draws near.

00:11April Racho of Radyo Pilipinas, Tuguegarao has a national news report.

00:18A few days before the meeting in 2025,

00:21the legals who are selling fireworks in Tuguegarao City had a meeting.

00:25They just came here because this is our place.

00:29Those who are selling fireworks in other places are not sure if the fireworks they are getting are legit,

00:38if it has a label, or if it's dangerous.

00:41For now, only a few people are buying fireworks.

00:45But on Monday and Tuesday, the number of people who will buy fireworks will increase.

00:48That's why the government's officials insisted that illegal fireworks should not be sold.

00:56Our daily monitoring is ongoing on the sale of fireworks.

01:02Earlier, our troops inspected their business establishments, including PMP and DTI.

01:10They inspected 43 establishments and there are still some who applied.

01:16Tuguegarao City Fire Station also insisted that those who will apply for a permit before selling fireworks

01:22should apply for a permit before selling fireworks for the safety of those who will apply for a permit.

01:27They also said that 60 people from their office are ready to guard the city's 47 barangays until the new year.

01:38Aside from this, their First Aid Service of FAST team also guarded the strategic areas

01:44while their seven firetrucks and an ambulance vehicle were on standby.
