00:39That's why President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. himself encouraged everyone to support the film festival.

00:56Because this is a special celebration celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Metro Manila Film Festival.

01:52emphasized the importance of the MMFF more than just being a year-long film festival.

01:57Because this is also a way for the films and culture of the Filipinos to thrive.

02:05it will help strengthen the movie industry in the country.

02:10This year, there are 10 films at the year-long film festival.
