Celtic 4-0 Motherwell reaction: Penalty debate ensues in comfortable home win

Ben Banks reports from Celtic Park as the Hoops win 4-0 over the Steelmen.

00:00Full time here at Parc d'Hévéz, you can see the Celtic players just making their way off the park.

00:05Celtic 4 Mullow 0. Mullow kicked Celtic B for the first 45 minutes or so.

00:10Not had a lot of attacking chances though, Celtic were a lot in possession.

00:14Then a penalty and the dying embers of the first half.

00:17Asked the Roxburgh for a challenge on the island.

00:19Bit of debate on social media about that, over whether it was a penalty or not.

00:23I'm sure we'll hear Stuart Kettlewell's thoughts on it.

00:25He's not been happy with refereeing decisions against Mullow all of late.

00:28Then after that it was Celtic domination really in the second half.

00:31The penalty seemed to knock the wind out of Mullow's sails when Arnie Engels scored.

00:36Three goals in the second half for Celtic, a comfortable win in the end for them.

00:40A really busy period of games for Mullow continues.

00:42They play Rangers on Sunday so there really is no rest at the minute.

00:46And it's a tough run of games after that as well.

00:48We've got Hearts away, Aberdeen, Hibs, Kilmarnock all to come in the space of between now and boxing day in January 11th.
