00:03You speak of feeling powerless in many ways.

00:07Do you have any hope for peace

00:09or an end to Israel's campaign?

00:12Our hope right now is for the war to end.

00:14Our hope is to survive.

00:17It's honestly very, very hard to think beyond this.

00:20I think of our families and friends in Gaza.

00:23I mean, what hope do they have other than

00:26we hope we survive and then see what happens

00:29because their homes are destroyed?

00:32Here in the West Bank, all we hear about is the annexation.

00:35Israel taking more land.

00:37We're witnessing more blockades,

00:40more checkpoints surrounding our towns and villages.

00:43Even Bethlehem right now,

00:44all it takes is to close two checkpoints

00:47and Bethlehem becomes completely isolated.

00:49Another Gaza.

00:51And so right now, faith becomes a source of encouragement,

00:56a source of resilience.

00:59Our message this year has been one of resilience

01:02and to that we turn to our faith.
