00:00The palace has confirmed that on Monday, President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. will sign the proposed

00:052025 national budget. According to Presidential Communications Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez,

00:11the ceremonial signing of the general appropriations bill will take place on Monday

00:16after the chief executives expected attendance at activities related to Rizal Day.

00:21Yesterday, the president met with the economic cluster of the government

00:25to review the proposed 2025 budget worth 6.3 trillion pesos. This is just one of a series

00:31of meetings convened by the chief executive to review the budget. The president previously

00:36stated that he needed more time to review the proposed national fund due to numerous changes

00:42made by Congress. He emphasized that he wants to ensure the budget is focused on the government's

00:47priority projects.
