00:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. helped his Executive Secretary Lucas Bersanin and his economic managers this morning.
00:29Officials and experts discussed the implementation of the 2025 National Budget.
00:35The Finance and Budget Management Department, the National Economic and Development Authority, and the Department of Public Works and Highways were present.
00:44President Marcos was the first to assure that the implementation of the national budget will be carried out and studied thoroughly
00:51so that it can be used for the most important and necessary programs and projects of the government.
00:57This was the only Friday afternoon that the President was given a copy of the list of budgetary expenditures for the next year.
01:07But President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was positive that it will be approved and signed before the end of 2024.
01:17Presidential Communications Secretary Cesar Chavez said that the re-enacted budget was not discussed after two hearings in the left and right corners.
01:27The re-enacted budget is held when the new government budget for the next year is said to be approved.
01:34Instead, the funds from last year will be used again.
