Gerry was working on creating a fancy dressing for her mother-in-law, carefully preparing all the ingredients.

She decided to use a Pyrex dish to bake it in, but unfortunately, she picked the wrong kind of Pyrex.

As soon as the dish went into the oven, it shattered with a loud crash.

The oven was covered in shards, and the smell of something burning filled the air. It was a complete mess!

Not one to give up easily, she took a deep breath and then started over from scratch.

I've read you can't put in a hot oven unless on a pan , so why I'm cooking I let my Pyrex sit on top of the stove so it warm when I put it in the oven

make sure the etched PYREX is all caps. knock offs are not.

Real pyrex doesn't explode. Maybe a knock off. If so sue them

I've had Pyrex explode like that. Had my Christmas Prime Rib in it...
