00:00On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me a Jack Reacher-esque marine-made
00:05tale.
00:06I need to report a crime.

00:29Little Matching is dope.
00:31It's better.
00:32It's better than them.
00:33It stars Aaron Pierre in a star-making tome you are going to see this guy go places, and
00:36it's because of this film.
00:37He is fantastic.
00:38He plays, as I said, a Jack Reacher-esque character, insofar that he is an ex-marine
00:43who is cycling through town one day on his way to post his cousin's bail in a prison
00:50when he gets caught up, pulled over by some cops who take the money from him, and before
00:55And before you know it, this guy who is just unwittingly going through town,
00:59minding his own business, gets embroiled in a small-town corruption plot.
01:04And as it coalesces from there, the film gets just nail-bitingly brilliant.
01:09So I was thinking, what if we just walk away?
01:13Well, now you're starting to talk.
01:14I was like, nah.
01:17It's absolutely fantastic. It's, you know, 130 minutes.
01:20And I think these days, sometimes films don't need to be that long.
01:23Rebel Ridge, it justifies its time.
01:25It's on Netflix.
01:27You know, there's a lot of things on Netflix for you to wade through,
01:29and it's hard to know what to push to the top.
01:31But I'm telling you, if you push Rebel Ridge to the top,
01:34I don't think you'll regret it.
