00:00The Office of Civil Defense is now preparing the effects of the rains around Mount Canlaon.

00:06The OCD is worried about the possible impact of the landslide.

00:09Here is the report.

00:13The Office of Civil Defense is now planning to expand the Permanent Danger Zone around Mount Canlaon to 10 kilometers.

00:20This is followed by the rains around the volcano that could be the cause of the landslide.

00:26The OCD is also planning to move the evacuation sites outside of 10 kilometers, according to the OCD.

00:34At present, there are 27 evacuation centers in Negros Island

00:38and more than 77% of the residents have been evacuated outside of the danger zone.

00:44Although the OCD assured that there is enough food and other necessities for the evacuees,

00:50it also gathered help from the public.

00:52Not only food, but also things that can be a source of relief, especially for the children,

00:56because it is possible that they will be able to stay at the evacuation sites for a long time.

01:02The OCD also said that there is still a high possibility of a strong eruption of Mount Canlaon.

01:08After 24 hours, 22 volcanic quakes were recorded by the OCD and the eruption of the volcano continued.
