Dry (thermal) photographic transfer on wood, combined with carved elements - by Boris Kovachev

A short handheld panoramic video, showing my two participation pieces for our new fine-art exhibition "RITUAL", at the Union of Plovdiv Artists (ДРУЖЕСТВО НА ПЛОВДИВСКИТЕ ХУДОЖНИЦИ) grand exhibition hall - 32 William E. Gladstone Str. Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Curator - Nikola Minchev. Later the works in question were displayed as part of the 2018 Metalpoint and Watercolors solo exhibition by Boris K. These are mixed technique exhibits of dry thermal manual photographic transfer into the structure of 30x50cm spruce wood blanks, combined with hand-carved elements into the base material itself. "Ritual:Creation" - 4m x 30cm (8 sections of solid wood, metal joints);
"Ritual:Family" - 50cm x 60cm (diptych, solid wood, metal joints).
On display from Monday 4th till the 19th of May 2015 — in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
