NBC’s Sunday Night Football Play-By-Play broadcaster Mike Tirico joins Shan and Bobby to preview the Cowboys vs. Buccaneers game. He was asked if he thinks that the Cowboys are still ‘Americas Team’ after Jim Nance said last week that Dallas is no longer the biggest draw in the country.
Tirico is very apathetic towards the term ‘Americas Team’ and does not think that it’s anything worth putting energy towards. He does give the Cowboys credit for gaining their fan base with their Super Bowls and playoff appearances, but understands why some want to see teams who don’t have that same legacy take the big stage.
