00:00Leader of the Camaray, the beneficiary of ACAV, House Speaker Martin Ruvaldez,

00:08is now pointing out that the Congress is not using its funds properly

00:15and that it is actually benefiting the beneficiaries.

00:24To those who doubted the importance of social safety nets,

00:29let this be a reminder,

00:31Ayuda is not charity, it is justice.

00:44It is our duty to ensure that no Filipino falls through the cracks,

00:48especially in times of crisis.

00:50House Speaker Martin Ruvaldez might have intended

00:54to distribute various government aid.

00:58In his final message before the session of the Camaray last night,

01:02the House Leader gave that this is a legitimate program

01:06and that the beneficiaries are also real people.

01:09To those who are against Ayuda,

01:11the administration is ready to show

01:14where each cent you donated went for this.

01:18Those who hold funds,

01:21the departments like DSWD, DOLE, and DOH,

01:26they are the ones running the programs, not the Congress.

01:32For the benefit of our countrymen,

01:34in terms of health,

01:36Ruvaldez said, the Camaray is also ready to recommend

01:39the distribution of contributions

01:41by members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation or PhilHealth.

01:45If funds remain stable and in surplus,

01:48we will recommend a one-year suspension of premium payments

01:52for all paying members.

01:54This will serve as a form of relief

01:56to millions of Filipinos

01:58already grappling with inflation and rising prices.

02:02Next year, the Camaray will begin

02:05a thorough and fair investigation

02:08on the distribution of funds by PhilHealth.

02:11Aside from this,

02:12Ruvaldez also recognized the effort and service

02:15of each member and the Camaray

02:17as well as the request for a peaceful and prosperous Christmas

02:21and New Year for each member.
