00:00From the PNA, the Chamber is now considering a one-year suspension on the premium contribution of PhilHealth members.

00:07According to House Speaker Martin Romualdez, this is in line with the Chamber's ongoing investigation into the financial stability of PhilHealth,

00:15wherein, if an investigation comes out that the agency has a surplus fund or underutilized resources,

00:22the House of Representatives will recommend a one-year moratorium on the contribution of paying members.

00:28This will serve as a relief measure for our countrymen who are suffering from inflation and the rising price of goods.

00:36The investigation is not to blame anyone, but to find a solution to the problem facing the country.

00:45The insurance of each peso of the member's bag is also being considered for their benefit.
