01:14Let's just say, well, he still would run 25 pick and rolls a game.

01:19But to me, what Schroeder does and what they're, what they're telling everybody is tomorrow

01:25night if we run 25 pick and rolls, Schroeder's got to run 10 of them or 12 of them.

01:32And Steph's going to run the other 10 or 12.

01:34And that philosophy, I think it's a little bit different than when they had Chris Paul,

01:40when they had Jordan Poole, and even when they had Sean Livingston.

01:43And secondly, and it's, it's to me, it's, it's not the main issue, but it is, it's,

01:52it's an, it's an indictment of Podjemski because I think they wanted him to be the

01:57backup point guard.

02:00They talked about him being the backup point guard.

02:02And I think they just realized 25, 26 games in, we can't wait for him to come around.

02:08So I'm also going to give the Warriors credit for, if I'm going to kind of criticize them

02:13for building pods up more than they should have, I'll give them credit for making a tough

02:19decision after they wanted him to play a bigger role.

02:23And I keep going to a Courageous interview yesterday with Willard and Dibbs, and he spoke

02:26to, to that about pods, just basically saying, Stani, I think Willard asked him, was it unfair?

02:31It was kind of unfair what they were asking of pods, but you know, he has made, hopefully

02:35he has not had his best year in his career pods that is, but the bottom line is everything

02:40you just described that you're taking away from Curry.

02:44I just think of a loaf of bread, wonder bread, Curry's going to be fresh.

02:49And that's what this is about.

02:51And I watched Sunday's game against Dallas, Stani, and it was the first time in forever

02:55where I said, you know, this loss hurts, but this is the last time we'll watch this iteration

03:01of the Golden State Warriors because Truder will be here.

03:05And Stani, I'm going to put a rat on the table.

03:07I'm thinking about the Warriors now without them, if they wouldn't have been able to be

03:11the beneficiaries of what's going on in Brooklyn and them trying to tank, I really believe

03:17we might've saw season two of the Warriors fiddling with the play-in or not making the

03:23playoffs.

03:24Oh, so you said this is a game changer.

03:26This is a game, mental, everything, Stani.

03:29That team was run, it had ran, that Melton injury was crippling this team.

03:34And I was like, I hadn't got there until Saturday when now, when you describe what he's bringing

03:40to the table, you're right, partner.

03:43And he could be here when Steph is not here.

03:45And hopefully that's been forever.

03:46But I'm telling you, man, this was needed.

03:50And how many, go ahead.

03:52I got to ask you if you had them in yesterday or whatever, the last game they played with

03:56without Schroeder, you had them as a play-in or what do you have them now?

04:01That's what I mean.

04:02Like, I think they could be fourth or fifth.

04:05And I think the 10 and two Warriors are back.

04:07You might say guru.

04:08You're like, I don't know.

04:09We were talking about every facet of this team, clicking the defense, the bench scoring,

04:16everything.

04:17I think that can be, if it all works, that that's back and they got it on.

04:22I don't want to call it a fluke, but Brooklyn saying to the world, this dude's so good.

04:27He's helping us win.

04:28We got to get them out of here.

04:46I'm fascinated to hear what he thinks of the Warriors acquisition of Dennis Schroeder and

04:53where they, where he thinks they go.

05:07And then, you know, as the show wears on, I want to talk about who's going to be affected

05:20asked Kerr if Steph Curry is still good enough to be a number one on a title team.

05:28I think the answer to that is yes, it's realistic.

05:32This is a once in a generation player and athlete he's superbly conditioned.

05:38We just watched him two and a half years ago, carry us to the title.

05:42This is Steph Curry's team and he's still an all-star.

05:46You saw him in the Olympics this past year.

05:48It's our job, put him in a position where we're in the playoffs and we give him a chance

05:54with the best group around him, the best schemes, the best coaching, the best training staff.

06:00And that's the focus and Warriors fans know really well that guys like Steph don't come

06:05around very often.

06:07You know, we went 40 years between titles from 75 to 15, but we have Steph, he's still

06:12playing at an elite level.

06:15We have to give him every resource to try to take us home again because we've watched

06:20him do it four times.

06:21So that's why we're doing what we're doing.

06:23All right.

06:24That's Steve Kerr talking about Steph Curry and whether he can be a number one on a title

06:29team and Steph says, yes, absolutely.

06:32But you know, we're going to need to get him some help and give him a good support system

06:37around him with trainers and whatnot.

06:41And now they've acquired, I think a player who's going to start with him in the back

06:47court.

06:48Yeah.

06:49I mean, he's averaging 18 points against.

06:50I know.

06:51I know.

06:52Guru's just about to points, but I'm just telling you, we saw what he did when he came

06:55in here and helped Brooklyn beat us.

06:58But I mean, man, I feel like, you know, we found the answer to what it, what it will

07:03would say.

07:04I keep bringing his name up.

07:05Oh yeah.

07:06The answer is not in the building for the Warriors.

07:09As far as a bona fide number two, I think right now it is.

07:12Yeah.

07:13And I think the, obviously the guy whose minutes are going to be affected the most is pajams.

07:17Yeah, no doubt.

07:18But I also think, look, Schroeder, Schroeder shoots the ball, me take shots.

07:25And in terms of shock distribution, this is going to make it a little tougher on Wiggins

07:31and Kaminga.

07:32If you allow it, well, they're going to have to do with less shots.

07:38How can we, how are they, how is it not like Schroeder's going to take 15 shots a game

07:44and they're coming from somewhere.

07:48But if Wiggins was to put on his clay hat years ago, I ain't sacrificing an ass naturally

07:53that, you know what I mean?

07:54It's up to the, and again, it's not a contest, right?

07:57But at the end of the day, it's like what we've seen from Wiggins, we love, but keep,

08:03you know, being ultra aggressive, Stoney, because it's going to be harder.

08:06It's going to be harder for those guys to be ultra aggressive.

08:09I hate that.

08:10And listen, I'm not saying it's not going to work.

08:12I'm not saying that at all.

08:14I'm just saying, can Wiggins and Kaminga do more with less?
