00:20play this week and he doesn't play on Christmas Day, maybe, yeah, maybe there's a chance that

00:29the Chiefs let this slip away to the Buffalo Bills, which was unthinkable a week ago.

00:33Yeah, this is a bit of a conundrum because they're just having enough of a cushion, two

00:39games, but they also lost the game to the Bills.

00:41So if the Bills and Chiefs end up with the same record, the Bills are going to have the

00:45number one seed.

00:46So that's a little bit of a problem here, and so is the schedule of games, right?

00:50You have Saturday against the Texans, you've got to turn around and play Wednesday against

00:54the Steelers, and then you have a pretty tricky ending game as well if the Broncos are still

00:58fighting for a playoff spot.

01:00So these are not three gimme games, at least the next two are in Kansas City, which helps.

01:09I think the ideal situation is somehow win games with Carson Wentz, and you get the bye

01:15week, and you're rested Patrick Mahomes beyond that.

01:18So I don't know, it really comes down to, do the Chiefs feel confident about playing

01:23Mahomes in a span of four days, Saturday to Wednesday, is that a good thing for him going

01:28forward?

01:29So the bigger picture is just having him healthy.

01:31So they're in a little bit of a conundrum, and I've seen some early lines favoring the

01:35Texans, so maybe there's some things that Vegas knows about, maybe Mahomes not playing
