People on the street: Best gigs of 2024

We went out into Manchester to ask people on the street about their favourite live performances of the year.

00:00Hi I'm Theo and this is People on the Street. Today I'm out in Manchester asking people about

00:03their favourite gigs that they've seen this year. Now we've had some amazing people visit

00:07Manchester alone, from Paul McCartney to Noah Khan and so many more. We've also got some great

00:12smaller venues, places like Atma, where you get some really great independent bands popping up

00:16and doing great shows there. So we just want to know what's the best people that People on the

00:20Street have seen live? Oh definitely Fall Out Boy, yeah I went to go see them at the MEN.

00:26Basically just acted like a 16 year old again, yeah it was amazing actually.

00:30Raves Count, yeah probably say, well I went to Ibiza this year so probably an

00:38amazing event out there. There's a Radio 1 event out there, 528, but yeah that's probably it.

00:43Of course, Cocoroco, yeah it was down at 11 Central, like with the whole venue and the vibe

00:49just really, it just cemented how good it was. It's really good, honestly so good live.

00:54I actually went to Disclosure at Warehouse Project a few weeks ago and that was really good.
