00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has a tight grip on the local governments.

00:05The security of the Pogos is still tight and the operation is not yet stopped.

00:10To their constituents, Kenneth Paciente is returning.

00:18In the face of the imminent suspension of the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or POGO in the country,

00:24President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. urged the local governments

00:28to be aggressive in the suspension of the POGO operations in their respective areas, according to the President.

00:34The local governments should be aggressive in maintaining their communities.

00:39His challenge to these is, do not hesitate and rush to the DILG

00:44if you find out that the Pogos still has operations in their area.

00:48The DILG assured that they will comply with the President's directive,

00:52especially since the end of the year is not yet expected

00:55to end the operation of the Pogos to ensure that the country is now POGO-free next year.

01:01However, the law enforcement entities will impose sanctions on those who will operate the Pogos.

01:07They will do everything by the government to make it difficult for the Pogos to operate in the country.

01:14It is easy to talk about this because of the movement of individuals in one place

01:20where the role of the LGUs will be great in responding to such incidents.

01:25Next, the President's directive to the law enforcement and anti-corruption entities

01:31to impose sanctions on the Pogos that will continue the illegal operations,

01:37the Executive Board of the 2nd Joint National Peace and Order Council-Regional Peace and Order Council in Campo Crame said.

01:44Here, the President ordered the PNP and CIDG to strengthen the operation against the Pogos

01:50that will remain operational despite the total ban.

01:54His directive to the DILG is also to find important information for the communities.

01:59Until November 29, 53,700 Offshore Gaming licenses were cancelled.

02:0718 IGLs were the only ones to cancel their licenses

02:11while 27 IGLs are still in the process of their license revocation.

02:17The President's 3rd zone highlights the announcement of the total ban of the Pogos in the country starting December 31.

02:25But first, the PAG-CORP decided that from Sunday, December 15, all licenses of the Pogos in the Philippines will be cancelled.
