00:07of Pantai Teluk Batik following the sighting of a crocodile in the area on Thursday.
00:13State Director Yusof Sharif said no traps have been set as the department is prioritizing
00:18observation and urged visitors in the area to be careful.
00:23He advised the public to remain cautious and to not provoke or throw things at the crocodile.
00:29He also said that the crocodile is expected to return to its natural habitat within two
00:35or three days as it may have wandered into the beach area by mistake.
00:40It was reported that at 2.24pm on Thursday, a patrol team from the Malaysian Civil Defence
00:46Force APM received information, including a video recording of the crocodile near a
00:52jetty in Teluk Rubiah.
00:54The APM conducted surveillance and confirmed the presence of the reptile.
