Genitorialità, Affinita (Moige): “Non c’è futuro senza figli”

(Adnkronos) - “I figli sono l’infrastruttura più importante per il sistema Italia. Non si possono tassare le spese che sosteniamo per i nostri figli, questo è quello che chiediamo e chiederemo con maggiore forza”. Sono le parole di Antonio Affinita, direttore del Moige, intervenuto in occasione dell’evento ‘Essere genitori oggi, tra scienza e welfare’, il nuovo appuntamento di Adnkronos Q&A organizzato in collaborazione con Demografica e Merck, con il sostegno di Medical service consulting, Ivi, Nuova collaborazione associazione nazionale datori di lavoro domestico e WindTre. L’incontro ha l’obiettivo di accendere i riflettori sul sostegno alla genitorialità attraverso alcune direttrici fondamentali: la politica economica, l’educazione e la prevenzione per favorire la fertilità, le tecniche per superare l’infertilità e l’implementazione di un welfare aziendale orientato a favorire scelte di vita coerenti con un incremento della natalità.

00:11The central theme of our activity is to remember that children are the most important bridge, the most important infrastructure for the Italian system.

00:20And if there are no children, there is no future.

00:23We want a tax authority that is able to meet a very clear requirement.

00:29We cannot tax our children.

00:33We cannot tax the expenses that we have and that we support for our children.

00:38We are asking, and we will ask for it with more strength and more detail.

00:42We are collaborating comprehensively with a pool of companies in the field of an initiative to support fragile parenting,

00:50helping mothers and fathers in conditions of relational, social, economic and professional fragility,

00:56with the presence of coach parents who help fragile parents in the management of their children in the first years of life.

01:07It is a project that is having a great social response.

01:11We are now starting with a second block, so we will exceed 500 helped parents.

01:20This is an important sign, very strong, because we want to be close to parents in Italy,

01:28knowing that it is a category that must be helped and supported.

01:32Being parents today means being heroes.

01:36We must be heroes because we do and carry out very, very challenging and extraordinary actions,

01:44starting with the education of our children, starting with the generation of our children,

01:50starting with bearing a cost and a decrease in the income itself, not indifferent.

01:56Today, unfortunately, if there are no concrete and strong measures of fiscal support for our children,

02:05for parents, unfortunately, the direct investment that we all aspire to will not happen.

02:12So we reiterate the need not to cut costs to raise and educate our children.
