00:00The Philippine National Police clarified that there was no loyalty check

00:04while President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was in talks with the security forces and some chief executives.

00:12That's what Ryan Lesigas said.

00:16There's no need for loyalty check.

00:18We keep on telling that because, as you know, on the part of the PNP as well as the AFP,

00:24we remain loyal to the Constitution and we know our mandate,

00:28we know our limitation, and we won't lose our focus because of some political noise.

00:35This is not a loyalty check.

00:37The Philippine National Police or PNP clarified that there was no loyalty check earlier

00:42while President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was in talks with the officials of the Philippine National Police

00:48and local chief executives this morning in Campo Crame.

00:52According to the PNP spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo,

00:55the PNP will remain loyal to the Constitution and to the duly constituted authorities.

01:01In addition, the National Peace and Order Council meeting is being held regularly

01:06with the security forces and some chief executives.

01:10In the investigation, the PNP will present the crime statistics and investigation of the cases

01:15that include high-profile cases.

01:18In the said meeting, the PNP also laid out the possible areas of concern for the upcoming elections.

01:25In spite of this, Fajardo clarified that the Comelag will still announce

01:30which areas are the areas of concern.

01:34The situation in the West Philippine Sea is also being discussed.

01:37Preparations are being made for the upcoming elections and campaign against illegal drugs.

01:42The President is satisfied with his preparations and accomplishments.

01:48So, this is not really a loyalty check on the part of the President.

01:51The President is also focusing on the insurgency and local terrorist groups

01:57so that they will not be affected in the upcoming elections.

02:00The President also gave a tight campaign against Pogo.

02:05The President insisted that there should be no more Pogo and IGL.

02:10There will be no more allowances.

02:12The PNP will also monitor the BPOs that may be used as cover.

02:17In the end, the PNP assured that they are prepared for security in the upcoming holiday season

02:23even if the upcoming midterm elections are near

02:25where President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. said that he will strictly monitor the areas

02:31where the fight against politics is tight so that violence can be avoided.
