Anelli (FNOMCeO): “Etica e competenze pilastri della professione medica. Fondamentale anche la formazione”

(Adnkronos) - Anelli: “I medici lavorano oggi con grande generosità, dando un contributo essenziale alla tutela della salute. La loro attività si fonda su ricerca e studio, ma anche sull’impegno quotidiano. I pilastri della professione sono le competenze e l’etica: la FNOMCeO è garante di quest’ultima, e per quanto concerne le prime è attiva sul fronte della formazione, che ha un valore essenziale”. Queste le parole di Filippo Anelli, presidente FNOMCeO, nel corso della quarta tappa degli Stati Generali FISM, la Federazione delle Società Medico-Scientifiche italiane che ha celebrato a Roma il quarantesimo anniversario.

00:16They also do it through research, study, daily commitment, to have more and more skills

00:26and those that are the most effective tools, we will have many in the coming years,

00:34such as to cure diseases that were once incurable.

00:39All doctors, however, are registered to the order, to the order, why?

00:45Because this ability to deliver performance to the citizens must be combined

00:53with some principles that are essential.

00:56To cure everyone without distinction, to take into account the ethical principles

01:04that the profession embodies every day.

01:07And here the orders have an essential value.

01:10The profession is therefore based on two great pillars,

01:13the pillar of skills and the pillar of ethics and therefore the relationship with people.

01:19Franceo is the guarantor of the latter.

01:22To achieve these results, obviously, an important part of our activity is training,

01:28because skills are achieved through training,

01:33but at the same time the ideology, the ethics cannot be disjointed from the fact

01:40of the commitment that each doctor must put in to be more and more effective

01:45in his professional action.
