One Dead, Three Injured in Lafayette Laundry Shooting

00:00The Tippecanoe County Coroner has identified 35-year-old Keith Ford of Lafayette as the

00:05man who was killed during the shooting. Ford was rushed to IU Health Arnett Hospital,

00:09where he later passed away. A forensic autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

00:13Officers arrived to the scene Thursday night and found four victims with gunshot wounds.

00:18Two victims, a man and a woman, are currently both in stable condition.

00:22Another man is in critical condition. Investigators have confirmed the man

00:26in critical condition is the shooter who sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

00:31Police have not released his identity, but say he is from Lincoln, Nebraska.

00:34Lafayette Laundry was closed today as investigators were still on the scene.

00:38South Street from Earl Avenue to 31st Street was closed until late Friday morning.

00:43Personal items of customers remained inside the laundromat as police continued the investigation.

00:48Also inside was wrappers of medical supplies used to treat victims on the scene.

00:52Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public, and this investigation is ongoing.
