00:03as the 56th anniversary of the CPP-NPA is nearing.
00:08The AFP clarified that the group's strength is weak
00:11and that only one guerrilla front is left from the previous seven weekend guerrilla fronts.
00:16This is also the result of a more intensive military operation
00:20under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:23to end the problem of insurgency by the end of the year.
00:28The whole-of-government approach was also helpful,
00:31especially since the territorial defense is more important now.
00:36What this means is that the weekend guerrilla front
00:38does not have the capability to conduct a large-scale operation,
00:43they do not have enough resources,
00:46and they cannot recruit new members to join their force.
00:50As I said, we will not be disrespected.
00:53We have been doing this for years.
00:57What we normally do in these instances,
01:00we still have forces that are detailed to look into all of these instances.
01:08Whatever comes out of our intelligence gathering,
01:13we will make sure that it is properly monitored.
