Cryptocurrency Executives Praise Trump’s SEC Chair Pick, Paul Atkins

Many executives from prominent cryptocurrency companies have expressed support for President-elect Donald Trump’s potential pick for SEC chair, Paul Atkins.  Bitwise Asset Management praised the potential SEC chair nominee for his ability to work collaboratively with Congress and regulators. Ripple and Coinbase executives supported the nomination, citing frustration with the current SEC chair's regulatory approach. Atkins would still need Senate confirmation, and it remains to be seen how he will handle digital assets if appointed.
