00:11The DOJ says the decision was based on procedural objections made by Tevez's camp after their

00:16voluntary participation in a proceeding they refuted after receiving an unfavorable decision.

00:21DOJ Chief Boyeng Remulia praises the decision as a victory for the Filipino people.

00:26He also says that it was a testament to the government's commitment to real-time justice.

00:31Meanwhile, Tevez's counsel, Ferdinand Topacio, has yet to issue a statement.

00:35To this day, Tevez has yet to stand trial in the country as his extradition has not

00:40been finalized.
