Strong "tornado" winds have already battered the nation ahead of Storm Darragh.
Video shows wild winds smashing through the streets of Wakefield, Yorkshire, last night at around 5pm (5).
Jade Lee-Milner, 27, who described the conditions as a "tornado" said: “It sounded like an airplane had landed in the street - it happened so suddenly."
