00:00After the chaos of the Conservatives, we really did need real change, but I'm afraid this
00:04looks like we're moving the goalposts. It's all right having milestones, but you need
00:08a plan, particularly for our NHS, and I didn't really hear that from the Prime Minister.
00:13Liberal Democrats want to see farmer investment in things like GPs and social care to relieve
00:18the pressure on hospitals, and I didn't hear that. Everyone wants to see the waiting lists
00:22go down. It's one of the worst legacies of the Conservatives, with over three million
00:26people stuck on waiting lists for over 18 weeks. It was a disastrous legacy from the
00:31Conservatives. But what Liberal Democrats are arguing for is we need to take the pressure
00:35off the hospitals so they can get those waiting lists down, and with too few GPs and people
00:41not able to access their GPs, that is actually a big part of the problem. So what we're saying
00:46as Liberal Democrats, we have a plan. Let's fix it by investing in GPs and community pharmacists.
00:52Let's make sure we have social care, and those two ideas, big reform ideas, would take the
00:58pressure off the hospitals so the waiting lists could come down.
